What is a DVB-S2 FBC or a DVB-C FBC Twin Tuner?
A DVB-S2 Twin Tuner FBC has 8 demodulators. This is equivalent to a receiver with 8 standard DVB-S / S2 tuners. This is a unique 8 tuner in 1 technique. This allows you, in combination with a Unicable LNB, to watch, stream or record up to 8 channels on different transponders at the same time.
With two standard dish connections (eg Twin-LNB) it is possible to process 2 separate signals with this unique FBC technique. In addition, by the FBC technique, the 2 separate signals are looped through to 6 extra internal tuners that work in the loop-through mode. This allows you to watch, stream or record TV channels from 8 different transponders from 2 different satellites (eg Astra 1 and Astra 3) at the same time.
Unicable i.c.m. FBC
In SCR mode (Unicable) the VU + DUO 4K SE with 8 frequencies is equal to 8 standard tuners. This makes full use of the 8 tuners FBC technology.
